In the wake of a harsh divorce, Erin Grant finds herself stripped of her daughter's custody, lost to her ex-husband Darrell, a man better at thievery than fatherhood. Jobless and desperate, Erin steps into the neon haze of 'The Eager Beaver', a local strip club. Here, she dances away her dignity, night after night, in hopes of earning enough to reclaim her daughter. One fateful evening, the club's pulsating lights reveal the disguised figure of Congressman Dilbeck amidst the audience. In a startling incident, he attacks another patron, drawing the attention of an unassuming spectator who, recognizing Dilbeck, harbors a soft spot for Erin. He proposes a plan - a dangerous dance of blackmail against the Congressman to wrestle Erin's daughter back.
