Beneath the shadowed underbelly of a bustling American metropolis, a sinister terror known as The Picasso Killer holds the city in his gruesome grip. The police department, staggered by the lack of clues, finds itself in a desperate race against the ticking clock. Amidst this chaos, Christie Wallace, a humble bartender, dreams of a tranquil existence in the countryside with her six-year-old daughter, Zoe, far removed from the city's violent pulse. On the eve of Christmas, Christie's life takes a chilling turn. Leaving the sanctuary of the Tides Bar, she stumbles upon a blood-soaked woman in a dimly lit alleyway, locking eyes with the infamous Picasso Killer in the process. A frantic chase ensues, leading Christie to the relative safety of a commercial building watched over by Wade, a night watchman skeptical of her chilling tale. The situation spirals into darkness when a city-wide blackout plunges them into a cloak of fear, severing their connection with the outside world. Detectives Stefan Kerchek and Lawrence Kellog, responding to Christie's distress call, find themselves trapped within the building's steel jaws, their lifeline to the precinct cut off. As Christie reveals her ability to identify the monstrous Picasso Killer, the realization dawns that they are not alone. Seven strangers, trapped in a steel-and-glass fortress, find themselves in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with the Picasso Killer. As the night stretches on, they must band together to survive, their lives hanging by a thread in the city's darkest hour.
