Plot

In the vibrant world of art student Shin Chae-Kyung, a jarring twist of fate catapults her into an unlikely marriage with her classmate, Lee Shin, who is not just an ordinary teen but the crown prince of South Korea. Urged by the pressing need to rescue her family from the clutches of debt, she reluctantly accepts this royal alliance, triggering a cascade of complications. The palace's grandeur conceals a web of conflicts: the frosty relationship between the unlikely newlyweds, Shin's lingering longing for his ex-lover, the graceful ballerina Min Hyo Rin, and Chae-Kyung's struggle to acclimate to the opulence of her new life. The plot thickens as Lee Yul, a former royal heir displaced due to a dark family scandal, returns from years of foreign seclusion. Torn between his mother's power plays and his burgeoning affection for his cousin's bride, his arrival stirs the already turbulent waters of the palace. "Princess Hours" weaves a captivating tale of unexpected love, royal intrigue, and personal transformation within the grandeur of a modern palace.
