Plot

In the world of the unhinged, Peggy Gravel finds herself spiraling into a pit of paranoia so deep it drives her to commit the unthinkable - murder. Assisted by her loyal, if somewhat hefty, nurse Grizelda, she fatally attacks her husband, launching the duo into a chaotic flight from justice. Their escape is thwarted by a cop with a peculiar obsession for women's undergarments, who banishes them to the squalid town of Mortville. Mortville, a fetid haven for society's outcasts, is governed by the iron fist of the enigmatic Queen Carlotta. Her dominion is a ramshackle community where criminals eke out a miserable existence, a place where the lawless find refuge in the heart of dereliction. Peggy and Grizelda find an unlikely home with the robust former wrestler, Mole, and her glamorous yet deadly lover, Muffy. However, the equilibrium of Mortville is precariously balanced on the whims of Queen Carlotta, whose daughter, Princess Coo-Coo, kindles a scandalous romance with a garbage man from the local nude camp. This ignites a simmering revolt, compelling Peggy to align herself with the queen in a desperate bid to purge Mortville of its undesirables. As the town teeters on the brink of rebellion, Mole, Muffy and their band of rebels must summon the courage to resist. The stage is set for a battle of wills that will either liberate or further ensnare the desperate inhabitants of Mortville.
