Dark Woods II (2015)

In the heart of an isolated, mountainous region, a decrepit sanatorium slowly succumbs to the ravages of time. Its only sentinel, an elderly janitor, remains steadfast in his duty, guarding its ominous secrets and barring entry to the hazardous environment. When five contract workers are commissioned to scour the immense structure for toxic waste, a three-day deadline thrusts them into a race against time. Over 300 rooms and labyrinthine pipelines lie in wait, their exploration more daunting than the search for hidden asbestos and mercury. As they delve deeper into the sanatorium's decaying bowels, the routine task spirals into a dreadful encounter with the building's harrowing past. An unforeseen complication arises as water from the ancient pipes floods their worksite, halting their progress. In a desperate bid to stem the deluge, they're led into the eerie depths of the cellar. What they uncover there, in the pulsing heart of the building, is a chilling testament to the sanatorium's haunting legacy. The waters of the old pipes carry more than just an impediment to their task; they awaken terrible secrets, long buried in the sanatorium's cryptic past. A building can be razed and forgotten, but its past is a specter that lingers, refusing to be silenced. The demolition of the sanatorium is imminent, but its dark history might prove indomitable, threatening to outlive the very walls that contain it.
