Plot

Ejected by the relentless sea, the enigmatic Cornelius Bloom, a man who appears to have experienced a thousand lifetimes, is led by the whims of the wind to a secluded village that seems to have been anticipating his arrival. Upon his arrival, Cornelius is promptly crowned as the village "miller", promptly starting the construction of his mill atop the village's towering cliff. The villagers initially greet their new miller with open arms, infatuated by his peculiar charm and the promise of progress his mill brings. However, beneath Cornelius' charismatic facade, lies a peculiar flaw: an overwhelming compulsion to release his pent-up emotions in the form of piercing nightly screams that echo from his cliff-top perch, under the pale glow of the moon. This nightly ritual not only shatters the village's tranquility, preventing the villagers from their much-needed rest, but also drives a wedge between Cornelius and his newfound love, while sowing seeds of animosity amongst the villagers. As the nocturnal uproar continues, the enchanting tale of Cornelius Bloom, the howling miller, unfolds, intertwining the cryptic past of a man who lived a thousand lives with the fate of a village that was seemingly destined to cross his path.
