In the twilight of the 20th century, we find Lewis Henderson, a charming computer whizz living in the urban jungle. His life goes into a tailspin when his long-term girlfriend, Sarah, shatters his heart into a million pieces. Like any modern day slacker, Lewis responds in the only way he knows how: by immersing himself deeper into the pixelated world of internet pornography, while neglecting his demanding Y2K software project. However, in a twist of fate, Lewis's digital desires begin to wane. Instead, he starts to find a strange yet satisfying sexual connection with his very own computer. His once dependable home desktop becomes his new lover in this bizarre union. But like all passionate affairs, his roving eyes begin to lust after newer, more seductive models, leading to some questionable encounters with neighbors' laptops and colleagues' CPUs. When his boss, Angela, threatens to unmask the anonymous "computer rapist", Lewis devises a cunning plan to mislead suspicion. He embarks on a romantic escapade with Jane, the company's seemingly unremarkable receptionist. As the new millennium looms, Jane reveals hidden layers, forcing Lewis to juggle his peculiar fetish with the prospect of genuine love. Set against the backdrop of a rapidly changing digital landscape, Control Alt Delete paints a moody yet humorous picture of fetishism, addiction, and love in the information age.
