Chennaiyil Oru Naal (2013)

Rising journalist Karthik (portrayed by Sachin) embarks on his inaugural assignment, an interview with the renowned actor Gautham Krishna (played by Prakashraj). However, fate deals a cruel hand as he succumbs to a brutal road accident, that leaves him tragically brain dead. This devastating news sends shockwaves through the hearts of his parents and his beloved girlfriend Aditi (Parvathi). Parallelly, an air of desperation looms over Gautham Krishna, whose daughter Riya teeters on the brink of death. Her survival hinges on a heart transplant, but the donor heart lies within Karthik. With heavy hearts, his parents give their consent, but the clock is ticking. The task of transporting the heart in time falls into the reluctant hands of Traffic Police Commissioner Sundara Pandian (Sharat Kumar), who doubts the feasibility of the mission due to the tight time frame. Despite his reluctance, Pandian rises to the occasion, aided by Satyamoorthy (Cheran), a recently suspended traffic cop looking to redeem his past mistakes. As they hit the road, their mission becomes a pulsating spectacle for television and FM channels. But as the van housing the precious cargo goes off the radar, the plot takes a chilling turn. Unbeknownst to them, Dr. Robin (Prasanna), a man wrestling with his own personal demons, weaves a twist in the tail.
