The Magnificent Seven (1960)

The residents of a poor Mexican village are simply trying to subsist on the crops they grow, but they find themselves relentlessly attacked by bandits. In a desperate plea, they gather what little money they have to hire a group of seven gunfighters from afar to protect their town. They're a misfit group of colorful and largely amoral characters, but they're a small group compared to the gang of bandits that have been rampaging through the village. These seven will have to train the people to fight, and they'll need to properly fortify the town if they want to survive the onslaught to come.
