Plot

In the midst of a routine stop at a fast food joint, Paul, a young German soldier, finds himself fleeing the rigid confines of military life. He takes refuge in the familiar yet changed homestead of his older brother Max. Upon his arrival, he is hit with the bitter news of his romantic relationship's demise, delivered by his now ex-girlfriend, Kerstin. As the narrative unfolds, the domestic tableau is further complicated when Max introduces his strikingly beautiful Danish girlfriend, Lene, an actress with an enigmatic allure. Despite the familial ties, Paul finds himself irresistibly drawn to her, his desires pushing him towards audacious attempts at seduction. Yet, Lene, steadfast in her refusal, remains an unattainable dream. Navigating this confusing milieu of relationships, Paul's volatile temper frequently gets the better of him, sparking off confrontations with those he holds dear - his brother, his old friend, and his heartbroken ex-girlfriend. As Paul grapples with his stormy emotions and unfulfilled desires, an ominous threat looms in the backdrop. The military, relentless in their pursuit, initiate a search for their absent soldier, adding a layer of tension to this intricate tale of love, betrayal, and rebellion.
