Persona (1966)

Alma is a young nurse who's been put in charge of caring for a popular Swedish actress by the name of Elisabeth Vogler. Vogler appears by all counts to be healthy, but she suddenly stopped speaking after a stage performance of Elektra. Alma spends her time as a caretaker speaking constantly with Elisabeth in the hope that she'll one day get a response, but she never does. Soon, the process of sharing becomes a form of therapy for Alma, and she's spilling all of her most forbidden secrets to the woman. But at the same time, Alma's beginning to change.
