Brick (2006)

Brendan Frye is a morose and lonely teenager who agonizes about breaking up with his girlfriend Emily. Out of the blue, Emily suddenly calls him, sounding distraught. Not long after the call, Brendan finds her dead in a storm drain. Brendan's investigation into Emily's death leads him into the underworld of his high school.
