Five years were spent filming footage for this stunning nature documentary that takes viewers all around the world. Each of the 11 episodes focuses on a different biome and the creatures that live there. It travels from the deepest oceans to the highest mountain summits and chart forests, deserts, and plains in between. The footage is some of the most crisp and personal ever documented, and it was highly challenging to film. Each episode includes a short feature that discusses the particular difficulties of filming in a particular region along with further insights into the unique personalities of each part of the world.
