Plot

In the aftermath of the Civil War, seasoned outlaw Bascomb and his ruthless accomplice Yancey narrowly evade a carefully laid ambush during a daring bank heist. As the dust of their misadventure settles, they find an unconventional sanctuary among a Mormon wagon train journeying to the promising lands of Utah. Their eyes gleam with avarice as rumors of hidden gold on the train reach their ears, and Yancey, ever the cold-blooded opportunist, successfully uncovers the treasure. As the pair plan their escape with the gold, their scheme is complicated by an unexpected twist - a young, innocent girl from the train becomes inexplicably attached to the hardened outlaw, Bascomb. This unexpected bond sparks a change in Bascomb, causing him to question the life he's led and the choices he's about to make. This transformation, triggered by the pure innocence of a child, throws their grand plan into disarray. "Bad Bascomb" is a riveting tale of redemption and change, where the harsh wilderness of the American frontier meets the indomitable spirit of humanity. The film explores the power of innocence to alter the course of a man's destiny, even when that man is a notorious outlaw. It's a captivating journey where unexpected alliances form, hidden treasures are discovered, and the harsh exterior of a criminal is softened by the innocent affection of a child.
