Religulous (2008)

Bill Maher's Catholic upbringing and currently outspoken identity as an atheist both strongly inform this documentary that seeks to get to the heart of why religion exists and whether or not it still has a place to serve in modern society. In doing so, he'll confront personalities that range from mainstream figures all the way to the deepest fringe figures of the major three religions. That includes a visit to a Florida theme park based solely off of stories from the Bible and a Muslim musician who's outspoken in his hatred of the Jewish people. At the same time, he manages to find a surprising number of agnostics among these churches.
