Amphibious 3D (2010)

In the shimmering azure depths of the north Sumatran Sea, marine biologist Skylar Shane enlists the help of Jack Bowman, a seasoned expat charter boat captain, in her quest to unearth relics of prehistoric life. Their expedition, however, takes a perilous turn when they cross paths with Jack's unsavoury acquaintances - a band of ruthless smugglers operating from an isolated fishing platform. A young orphan named Tamal is a captive on this platform, traded into servitude by his uncle, a fearsome 'Dukun' or practitioner of black magic. Tamal's plea for liberation tugs at Skylar's heartstrings, reminding her of her own lost daughter, Rebecca. Oblivious to the monstrous entity lurking beneath the sea's inky surface, Skylar is committed to rescuing the boy. With Tamal's arrival, a cloak of mystery descends, and the smugglers begin to meet untimely ends at the hands of a bone-chilling creature from the watery abyss. As a violent storm churns ominously overhead, the dormant animus within Tamal stirs, summoning the ancient terror of his nightmares. Now, Skylar and Jack find themselves ensnared in a deadly battle against an ancient terror once confined to the sea's fathomless depths by a bygone civilization. With the creature threatening to rise, they must face their deepest fears and fight to prevent the resurgence of this primordial menace.
