Torn between his livelihood and an unforeseen obsession, Captain Nolan, a seasoned fisherman and owner of a sturdy fishing vessel, finds himself lured by the potential wealth an orca whale could bring. Inspired by the enlightening discourse of biologist Rachel Bedford, he embarks on a perilous endeavor to capture one of these majestic creatures. The mission, however, takes a tragic turn, resulting in the death of a pregnant orca and her offspring. In the wake of this calamity, a vengeful male orca, haunted by the loss of his family, rises from the depths.
