Plot

In the throbbing heart of Tokyo, a shocking spectacle unfolds at Shinjuku Station. Fifty-four high school girls, bound by an inexplicable pact, fling themselves into the path of an oncoming subway train, marking the ominous beginning of a nationwide suicide epidemic. The chilling event leaves the city in a state of unnerving dread, and the police force, led by the tenacious Detective Kuroda, clutching at straws. As Kuroda and his team grapple with the bizarre case, a cryptic e-mail from an elusive figure known only as "The Bat" lands in their lap. It points them towards a mysterious online site, where red dots eerily correspond to the rising death toll, yet provides no clear answers. Simultaneously, the rise of an all-girl pop group, Desert, stirs the undercurrents. Their mesmerising tunes echo through the city streets, but could their melodic allure hold a sinister connection to the escalating suicides? With every new death, the enigma deepens, leaving Detective Kuroda racing against time to decipher this deadly puzzle. The reality proves to be far from simple, as he navigates the shadowy labyrinth of a city caught in the grip of a chilling phenomenon. 'Suicide Club' is a haunting exploration of despair and obsession, where the quest for the truth might just be as perilous as the mystery itself.
