In the quiet humdrum of everyday life, Casey Beldon's world is abruptly jolted by a chilling nightmare. As she babysits a young boy and his infant sibling, she is haunted by the spectral image of a sinister child and an abnormal dog, a dread she confides in her best friend Romy. The disturbing visions of the young boy continue to plague Casey, gradually escalating from unsettling dreams to waking nightmares that blur the line between reality and delusion. She seeks out Sofi, a resilient Holocaust survivor residing in a retirement home, only to be warned about an imminent and grave danger. Casey unravels the unsettling reality of her haunting: she's the target of the "Dybbuk," a relentless malevolent spirit birthed from her family's tragic past. Its power grows each passing day, yearning to breach the barrier between the spiritual and mortal realms. Her only hope lies in the hands of Rabbi Sendak, a skeptic exorcist who doubts her story. Yet, despite his skepticism, he may be her only chance at survival. Will Sendak be able to shatter the curse of the unborn, or will the Dybbuk's insatiable hunger for life doom Casey to a fate worse than death?
