Ab-normal Beauty (2004)

Jiney, an outstanding art student and gifted photographer, finds herself grappling with the ghosts of a traumatic childhood and an estranged relationship with her mother. Despite her accolades, a sense of dissatisfaction lingers over her work. This changes when she happens upon a car crash and, driven by an eerie fascination, captures images of the deceased victim. This encounter sends Jiney spiraling into an obsession with death, alarming her loyal friend Jas who senses the abnormality of Jiney's newfound interest. As Jiney plunges deeper into her morbid curiosity, she outreaches a disturbing videotape. The footage, a horrifying scene of a girl being tortured and killed, sends chills down her spine. Jiney and Jas, initially dismissing it as a disturbing prank from their mischievous friend Anson, soon realize the grave reality of the situation. As another tape arrives, carrying an invitation for Jiney to continue watching, fear sets in. The sinister footage leaves her petrified, forcing her to confront the dark world she has been drawn into.
