A Wish for Giants (2018)

Sophie, a compassionate young woman, crosses paths with Roxie, a spirited child battling an incurable brain tumor harboring an extraordinary wish - to encounter the mythical Bigfoot. As Sophie embarks on this seemingly impossible quest, she must also grapple with Derrick, a self-serving classmate from her graduate school, born into a world of privilege and eager to exploit this unique situation for his own fame. As the sands of time slip through relentlessly, Sophie finds herself reluctantly joining forces with Derrick, all in the hopes of making Roxie's dream come true, albeit not in the manner she initially envisioned. Unbeknownst to them all, the dying girl's wish may hold an enchantment of its own, unveiling a reality more astounding than they could ever imagine.
