New Nightmare (1994)

The "Nightmare on Elm Street" franchise made Heather Langenkamp a star, but now she is married with a young child. However, she's having nightmares that are a lot like the movies she was in. Heather learns that New Line Cinema is making a new film in the series. Shortly after, her husband dies in a car accident, but his body is slashed. Her son also starts having nightmares about a Freddy Krueger-like figure. The film series has unleashed an ancient demon, and it is trying to use Heather to break into the real world.
