Spoiled playboy David Ames thinks he's finally found the woman he wants to settle down with. Before he can follow his heart, his ex-girlfriend tricks him into a car accident that leaves David disfigured and blamed for his former flame's murder. Before David can recover, reality begins to blur around him, leaving David and the film's viewers to question what's truly happening to him.
