For over three decades, Jeremiah Hill has chosen to live in complete isolation, untouched and undisturbed by the world beyond. Jeremiah's life is shaped by his mother's stern warnings against associating with the outside world, a lesson tragically underscored by her violent death, brutally played out before his very eyes. These memories forged a resolve in Jeremiah: anyone who dares to invade his world will face a fatal consequence. However, this delicate balance of solitude shatters when Lehman and his five companions from Los Angeles embark on a seemingly innocent weekend camping trip. Their paths cross with Tyler Trout and Floyd Fryed, the unwitting gatekeepers to Jeremiah's secluded world. This unexpected encounter plunges them headfirst into a reality far removed from the tranquility of their small mountain town, a reality that sheriff Talmidge and deputy Kevin Gordon could never imagine existing amidst their serene surroundings. As Lehman and his friends venture closer to Jeremiah's solitary cabin nestled in the woods, they unknowingly disrupt 33 years of his self-imposed isolation. What was meant to be a relaxing weekend of hiking and camping swiftly spirals into a harrowing struggle for survival. Little do they recognize the deadly nightmare that awaits them, a chilling echo of Jeremiah's past that's about to become their present.
