Takashi Haneda lives a life of duality, straddling the mundane reality of school and a mysterious other world he can't fully escape. Tethered to his ordinary life are Kobato, his adorably clumsy sister, and Watarai Asuka, his aloof girlfriend, who both tug at the strings of his heart. Meanwhile, Chitose Shuusuke, a charismatic drifter, juggles various part-time jobs while battling the misfortunes of his initial encounter with Tamaizumi Hiyoko. Fate, however, has a sense of humor, placing them under the same employer. In a parallel thread, Narita Hayato, who portrays himself as a "hard-boiled" individual, is no stranger to arduous jobs. He shies away from traditional human interactions, instead finding camaraderie amongst the misfits who roam the streets at night. One such evening, he crosses paths with the effervescent Otori Naru, a meeting destined to rock his world. These three young men, each leading their diverse lives, are bound to be transformed by their interactions with these compelling women.
