Plot

In the labyrinthine halls of a Korean high school, a clandestine love story unfolds between two teenagers, Hyo-Shin Min and Shi-Eun Yoo. United in their shared secret, they create a diary, a tangible testament to their forbidden bond, intending to reveal their love to their classmates. However, the delicate fabric of their relationship unravels when Hyo-Shin, after a fateful tryst, becomes pregnant by a despondent teacher. The heartbreak propels Shi-Eun to sever ties with Hyo-Shin, driving her into the cold embrace of suicide. A classmate, Min-Ah So, stumbles upon this poignant diary, her curiosity piqued by the raw intimacy recorded within. As she immerses herself in the pages of the diary, she is drawn into the whirlpool of Hyo-Shin and Shi-Eun's secret love, becoming obsessively entwined with Shi-Eun's memory. The diary, pregnant with secrets, births vivid hallucinations, blurring the boundaries between reality and the spectral echoes of the past. In the wake of Hyo-Shin's tragic demise, the school is cloaked in a shroud of shock and melancholy. Amidst the gloom, Min-Ah experiences a peculiar transformation, as though she has become a vessel for the spirit of the deceased girl. An ominous warning from a friend terrifies Min-Ah, suggesting her life might be the price for delving into the diary of a dead girl. Driven by a desperate desire for survival, Min-Ah attempts to return the diary to its rightful owner, Hyo-Shin, embarking on a chilling journey that intertwines life, death, and the haunting power of unrequited love.
