Plot

Nestled within the tranquility of Okinawa, an hour away from Naha, stands the quaint Gama Gama Aquarium, the setting of this visually stunning anime. At its heart is Kukuru Misakino, an 18-year-old high schooler who not only works there but is privy to an enchanting secret of the aquarium - its ability to unveil mystifying phenomena. One fateful day, Kukuru's path intertwines with Fuuka, a runaway from Tokyo. Once a starry-eyed aspirant of an idol's life, Fuuka now finds herself lost, her dreams dissolved and her spirit dampened. Standing before a water tank, her hair cascading like a waterfall and a single tear tracing her cheek, she encounters Kukuru. Desperate for a sense of belonging and drawn by the aquarium's allure, Fuuka implores Kukuru to let her work at the Gama Gama Aquarium. The series delicately unfolds as the duo confront the enigmatic secrets of the aquarium and grapple with the impending threat of its closure. The journey of Kukuru and Fuuka is not just about preserving their beloved aquarium, but also about self-discovery, shared dreams and the magic hidden in ordinary places.
