In the shadowy depths of the 22nd century, our beloved Earth succumbs to the invasion of an alien species, the Gamilas. Driven by the desperation of their dying planet, they set their sights on Earth, transforming it into a radioactive wasteland to suit their biological needs. Earth's space defense stands no chance against the relentless onslaught of the advanced Gamilas fleet, and humanity's hope begins to fade into oblivion. Yet, a glimmer of hope arrives in the form of a celestial message retrieved from a mysterious space probe on Mars. The message, a beacon from Queen Starsha of the distant planet Iscandar, brings the promise of salvation. She offers Earth a miraculous device capable of purging the radioactive plague that blights the planet. Along with this lifeline, she provides blueprints for a monumental spacecraft capable of enduring the intergalactic journey to Iscandar and back within a year. A brave crew of 114 embarks on a perilous mission aboard the Yamato, setting course for Iscandar to retrieve the device that could save their dying planet. Their journey, however, is fraught with danger as the Gamilas stand as ominous harbingers of doom.
