Akame ga Kill! (2014)

Tatsumi is a young man who has ventured to the city looking for a job so that he can save his starving village, but he ends up losing his money to a con artist and ends up sleeping on the streets. By what initially seems a stroke of good luck, Tatsumi ends up getting taken in by a beautiful young princess to her castle — but he soon discovers that she's a sadist who picks up poor people from the streets to torture. Disenfranchised with city life, he joins a group of assassins named the Night Raid who are fighting for class justice.
