Japan has fallen to the overwhelming force of the Empire of Britannia, in large part because Britannia commands incredible giant robots they call knightmare frames. Japan has been reduced to a colony known as Area 11, but not everyone is ready to give up the war just because Japan has been invaded. Lelouch is an outcast prince from Britannia, and he's vowed to push his former home country out of Japan. Assisting Lelouch in this aim is a game-changing power: the ability to compel anyone to follow his direct orders. Under the identity of the masked vigilante Zero, he'll be forced to face off against old friends.
