In the pulsating world of military action, the dynamic female android Mahoro, once an unrivaled operative for the formidable Vesper organization, experiences a tragic turn of fate. A mission gone awry results in the demise of her creator, a sorrowful event that leaves her burdened with guilt, despite her innocence. With her lifespan dwindling, she's retired from the battlefield, granting her the opportunity to lead a quieter life and conserve her remaining energy. Embracing her newfound existence, Mahoro chooses to honor her creator's memory in a unique way: by becoming a maid to his young son, Suguru. Despite their unconventional relationship, a heartwarming bond blossoms between them. However, her tranquil life is perpetually disrupted by the eccentric characters in Suguru's life, notably his lascivious high school teacher. The shadows of her past refuse to stay buried, as old foes from her Vesper days resurface, challenging her peaceful existence and threatening to drag her back into the fray. Amidst the chaos, Mahoro strives to lead a content life, fully aware that the sands of her time are rapidly slipping away, with less than a year to live. Yet, through it all, she is determined to create meaningful memories while grappling with her complex past and an uncertain future.
