In the world of high school student Hotaru Tachibana, gender lines blur and expectations are defied. Often mistaken for a boy due to her strikingly androgynous features, Hotaru finds herself entrenched in a thrilling game of Survival, partnered with the charismatic host – Masamune Matsuoka, and the eccentric ero-manga artist – Tohru Yukimura. A series of unexpected twists forces her to continue this gender charade, her secret teetering on the brink of exposure.
