In the heart of the 1940s, Wonder Man portrays the intriguing tale of "super-identical" twins, brought to life by the versatile Danny Kaye. Buzzy Bellew, the stage name of Buster Dingle, is a flamboyant and vibrant nightclub performer at the esteemed Pelican Club. Their paths, diverged for years, intersect when Buster witnesses a murder by notorious mob boss "Ten Grand" Jackson and is subsequently killed to silence him. The story takes a supernatural twist when Buster returns from the afterlife, becoming a spectral guide for his introverted twin brother. With a call for justice echoing from beyond the grave, the timid Edwin is compelled to step into Buster's shoes. He must face the ruthless killer in court and dodge the deadly claws of Jackson's hitmen, all while maintaining his brother's lively presence at the bustling Pelican Club.
