Handsome, smart, charming prince William, eldest son of Charles prince of Wales, becomes Scotland's oldest university St. Andrews's first-ever royal student, hoping to minimize contact with the press which harassed his mother almost to her fatal car crash. William's inner circle, fellow Etonians and irresistible playful roommate Ian Musgrave, is enlarged with industrialist Michael Middleton's daughter Kate, who becomes his regular girlfriend. prince Charles approves of all of them.
