Plot

In the heart of the open sea, on an isolated island, resides young Millie Stope alongside her politically ostracized grandfather. Their solitude, however, is shattered by the menacing presence of Nicholas, a runaway convict who casts a shadow of terror over their quiet existence. Nicholas' sinister interest in Millie adds an unnerving dynamic to their island life. Across the vastness of the ocean, John Woolfolk, a man haunted by the tragic loss of his wife, seeks solace in the endless voyage aboard his yacht. Fate brings his anchor crashing down in the bay of this obscure island. As he steps ashore, he can't shake off the sense of looming dread that permeates the island air. John is drawn to the captivating Millie, who sees in him a beacon of hope, an opportunity to escape her tormentor and the island that has become her prison. However, Nicholas' chilling threats of violence and violation, should she attempt to flee, hang over her like a dark cloud. Adding to the tension, he unravels her desperate plans for escape. This tale of fear, love, and courage unfolds amidst the wild oranges of this remote island, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
