Plot
Metropolis transmits a message about the importance of emotions and how they make humans different from other species of animals. The film centers on a private investigator and his nephew. In their world of Metropolis, robots and humans live together, but not in harmony--the robots act as servants to humans. But when the investigator’s nephew meets a robot named Tima and they forge a friendship, will his feelings about the status of robots change?
