In the searing heat of a Belgian-Dutch border village, a tightly-knit band of eight adolescents - four boys and four girls - finds themselves languishing in the grip of a suffocating summer. As the sun bears down mercilessly, the tedium of their existence becomes unbearable, prompting them to embark on a series of daring games in a desperate bid to shatter their ennui. Driven by a potent mixture of youthful curiosity and burgeoning sexuality, the teens push the boundaries of morality and decency.
