View from the Top (2003)

In the dusty corners of Silver Springs, Nevada, on the less glamorous side of a trailer park, young and ambitious Donna Jensen dreams of a life far removed from her humble beginnings. Inspired by the memoir of Sally Weston, a renowned former flight attendant, Donna sees a golden opportunity to escape her confines. Despite never having set foot on an airplane, she sets her sights on soaring through the skies, serving passengers with a smile, and making the world her home. Initially, her journey is far from smooth, with turbulence striking even before takeoff. However, Donna's natural aptitude for the job begins to shine through, turning heads and opening doors to the world-class Royal Airlines. Here, she crosses paths with her idol, Sally Weston, who becomes her mentor, seeing in Donna a spark destined for first-class greatness on the prestigious New York-Paris route. But the flight to the top is laden with challenges. Donna must navigate through the stormy wrath of flight attendant trainer John Witney, whose hidden anger issues make for a rocky ride, and the competitive turbulence of her friend Christine Montgomery, who also yearns for the skies but lacks Donna's innate talent.
