Plot

In the heart of Belgium, a peculiar family of vampires opens their cryptic lives to a documentary crew, offering an unprecedented glimpse into their nocturnal existence. The family comprises the stoic patriarch Georges, the composed matriarch Bertha, and their two rebellious teenage offspring, Sampson and Grace. As the camera rolls, it exposes a tableau of forbidden desires and existential crises. Sampson lusts after the community leader's wife, daring to breach the only sexual taboo within their clan, while Grace, a misfit donned in pink, yearns for the mundane life of a human. Their daily existence, a macabre blend of the ordinary and the grotesque, includes feasting on a young woman kept as their private snack reserve, attending their community school, conversing with a coffin artisan, and partaking in blood-tinted social gatherings. Simultaneously, they share an uneasy coexistence with a barren vampire duo dwelling in their basement, an arrangement that reeks of superiority and disdain. As the narrative unfolds, the audience becomes privy to the complexities of vampire customs, the dread of forced Canadian exile, and the uncertain destinies of Sampson and Grace. This account provides a captivating, if unnerving, window into the enigmatic world of the undead.
