Plot

In the throes of 1970, nestled within an American military base in Tokyo, Kanto High School becomes the unlikely hunting ground for an ages-old battle. The Council, a clandestine society with centuries of vampire hunting under their belt, dispatches their most skilled weapon, Saya. A four hundred year-old samurai, she possesses the eerie allure of a teenager, a façade belying the torment of her dual heritage. The soul of her human father clashes with the blood-thirsty nature of her vampire mother, forging an internal battlefield as fierce as the external one. Saya, a reluctant agent in a covert government operation, finds herself immersed in post-WWII Japan's military academia. Her mission: to uncover the demonic impostor lurking amongst her seemingly innocent classmates. The stakes escalate when she rescues Alice McKee, the daughter of the base's commander, General McKee, from the blood-curdling grasp of vampires. Tragedy strikes when a Council member extinguishes the General's life, thrusting Alice into a chilling world of supernatural warfare. Haunted by an obsession to confront Onigen, the formidable demon responsible for her father's demise, Saya finds her path intertwined with Alice's. Their alliance – a blend of human resilience and supernatural prowess – propels them into the heart of the countryside, chasing the shadows of Onigen. 'Blood: The Last Vampire' weaves a tale of duty, revenge, and the relentless pursuit of justice that transcends the mortal realm, igniting a fierce showdown under the ghostly Japanese moonlight.
