Meet the Robinsons (2007)

Lewis is a young orphan who also happens to be a brilliant inventor. His greatest wish is to find a family. It seems that his wish has come true when his time machine takes him 30 years into the future. Lewis meets the Robinsons, an eccentric family who welcome him in. All is well until the evil Bowler Hat Guy arrives. He wants to take credit for all of Lewis's inventions.
