Plot

In the heart of Hoxton, East London, a tale of love, trust and desperation unfolds in the film Turnout. The narrative, crafted by Director Lee Sales and actors Francis Pope and George Russo, who call this very neighborhood their home, follows the journey of George and Sophie. The couple is zealously saving for their inaugural holiday together. The initial deposit is secured, leaving them with a hefty balance of £2,000 to square away within a fortnight. Sophie, in a gesture of trust, hands over her hard-earned savings for the vacation to George, eager to clear their dues with the travel agency. However, this simple plan hits a snag when it's revealed that George, completely unbeknownst to Sophie, is in dire financial straits. In a desperate move to conjure up the necessary funds, George risks Sophie's vacation money on a dubious deal. 'Turnout' becomes a riveting watch as George's ill-conceived plan threatens to unravel their lives.
