Plot

On a seemingly ordinary day, three spirited young men, portrayed by the popular Japanese band, The Folk Crusaders, escape their mundane routines for a carefree swim at the beach. However, their tranquil getaway takes an unexpected turn when an unseen thief swaps their clothes for unfamiliar outfits while they are lost in the ocean's embrace. Left with no choice but to don these new ensembles, the trio innocently saunters back towards town, oblivious to the storm brewing on the horizon. Suddenly, they find themselves the targets of a relentless police pursuit, mistaken for notorious Korean criminals, a marginalized group in Japanese society. With their identities erroneously switched and confusion clouding their minds, the young men are thrust into a thrilling chase, their footsteps echoing on the city streets as they desperately attempt to outrun their pursuers. As the tension mounts and their holiday spirals into an unforeseen crime story, they unwittingly cross paths with the true culprits, adding another twist to their perplexing predicament. "Three Resurrected Drunkards" weaves a tale of mistaken identities and societal prejudice, an unexpected adventure that transforms a simple seaside holiday into an enthralling escapade.
