The Discovery (2017)

Thomas Harbor believes he's made one of the most important discoveries in human existence: scientific proof of the afterlife. But two years after making this revelation, it appears that the discovery was perhaps not for the best. Suicide rates have gone through the roof, and Harbor's estranged son decides to come visit his father after a long time away. He's skeptical of his father's discoveries but is worried when he discovers that his father invented a machine that can read the thoughts of the dying. Figuring out the meaning of the afterlife could have a meaningful impact on how the world heals.
