Under the ominous cloud of Nazi occupation, a Western European town finds itself ensnared in a web of deceit, fear, and conflicting loyalties. Major Erich von Keller, the Nazi District Commandant, holds the town in a vice-like grip, offering a deceitful illusion of freedom in exchange for civilian obedience.
