In the throes of World War II, British Commandos entrust Bob Owen (Lyle Talbot) with a daring mission in the cold terrains of Norway - a preparatory raid, with the crucial task of liberating the captive General Heden (Paul Baratoff) from the clutches of the Nazis. Assisting him in this dangerous gambit are his loyal aides, the seasoned Eric Falken (George Nesie) and the brave Harry (Charles Rogers).
Their clandestine operation is jeopardized when Inga (June Duprez), a Norwegian beauty with a past with Falken, but now in the dangerous embrace of Oberst Von Ritter (Victor Varconi), betrays their covert hideout. Unfazed, the trio employ their wit and courage to overpower the Gestapo forces pursuing them, don their uniforms, and infiltrate the prison camp, successfully freeing the General.
Now a quartet, they brave the icy wilderness towards the coast, aiming to rendezvous with the Commando expedition. However, their trust in Inga proves to be their Achilles heel when she once again becomes the mouthpiece for Von Ritter, leading to Falken's capture. In a twist of fate, Bob and Harry manage to evade capture with the unexpected assistance of Dalberg, a man they had mistakenly pegged as a treacherous Quisling stooge.
