The Warrior (2001)

In the tumultuous year of 1375, the ancient land of China was ensnared in a brutal power struggle between the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. Amidst this chaos, Coryo, a bygone kingdom of Korea, dispatched a delegation of diplomats, warriors, and a solitary, silent slave to negotiate peace with the emergent Chinese government. This mission of diplomacy, however, was misconstrued as espionage, resulting in their exile to a desolate desert. On their harrowing journey through the arid wasteland, they unexpectedly encountered an aggressive Yuan troop. Through a combination of courage and skill, the Coryo soldiers survived the clash, instigating a perilous trek back to their distant homeland. Fate was not kind, as they once again crossed paths with the Yuan troop, this time discovering a captive Ming princess in their grasp. Seizing an opportunity, the delegation decided to rescue the princess, not only to secure a noble victory but also to leverage her freedom for a ship to expedite their journey home. As their plan was set into motion, the desert sands began to tremble beneath the brewing storm of an epic battle...
