This fresh spin on the King Arthur myth strips away the mythology to deliver something grittier and more realistic. It's 400 AD, and the Roman Empire has extended their reach over most of the British Isles. Arthur has spent a decade serving as a knight underneath Rome, and he's earned his people's freedom for his service. They only need to complete one task first: to rescue a Roman priest from an invading horde of Saxon forces. And they'll also need to contend with the Woad people. They stand in fierce and violent resistance not just to the Romans but to all allied with them.
