Returning to the scene of his past transgressions, Michael Chambers finds himself drawn back to his hometown for his mother's wedding. Once banished due to his gambling habits, Michael had left his wife and his old life in shambles. Now, with a desire to mend broken relationships, he must navigate the labyrinth of past friendships, family ties, and lingering animosity.
His biggest challenge lies in rekindling the flame with his ex-wife, a task that seems as daunting as it is necessary. Amid this personal turmoil, he secures a job as an armored car driver, working for his mother's new husband. In this role, Michael seems to be the prodigal son returned, finding his place within the community once again and inching his way back into his ex-wife’s affections.
