The Reader (2008)

In 1958, teenager Michael Berg meets Hanna Schmitz, a tram conductor. Their relationship soon blossoms into an affair. A key part of their romance is that Michael reads Hanna literary classics. The affair ends when Hanna moves. They meet again years later when Michael is a law student and Hanna is on trial for war crimes.

The Reader is a drama movie featuring Kate Winslet and directed by Stephen Daldry.
